The recently completed Hopalong Way trail in SATWaSR near the Lee/Barrington town line had an upgrade. A new span, complete with aluminum decking, was built by a team of volunteers from the Trails Committee.

Charlie Tatham, Diane Dickson, Elaine Sullivan, Doug Winter and Jack Gale built a 7 foot bank-to-bank span with reclaimed 6×6 timbers and some salvaged pool decking. The new trail now has new signs, frequent yellow blazes and a new bridge to join the over 9 miles of trails in the Tamposi Reserve. The new trail is a more nature-intensive, shaded alternate trail to Rabbitat Road heading in from the Rt 125 lot.
